Engineering is the foundation of our society’s ability to function. Water, sewer, power, transportation, broadband telecommunications, gas etc. are all put in place, maintained and managed through engineering.
Engineers work every day to provide a safe environment for the public to lead their daily lives. These engineers usually work behind the scenes but do their job with pride and constantly have the safety of their fellow citizens in mind.
To help the public and potential future engineering students understand the role we play, ACEC Missouri has put together the following videos of engineers who talk about what they do, why they like their jobs and the rewards and benefits of pursuing a degree in engineering. The interviews include several engineers from across the state of Missouri, representing multiple disciplines of engineering.
So, take a moment and learn about the various roles that engineers play here in Missouri!
